MATHEMATICS ANXIETY AND CHOICE OF SUBJECT AMONG JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Mathematics anxiety has been found to negatively impact students academic performance, and the trend is pervasive in our society. The purpose of this study was determine whether math will predict choice subject. A total one hundred sixty-six junior secondary school participated study. Maths Anxiety Scale (MAS) used measure respondents level anxiety. Their subject indicated demographic section. linear regression analysis conducted on data revealed that positively statistically predicted findings practical implications are discussed.
